The 14th International Symposium on Photonics and Optoelectronics (SOPO 2023) will be held from August 14 to 16, 2023 in Xiamen, China. SOPO 2023 is co-organized by Wuhan University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, IPOC State Key Lab, Spectral Branch of Jilin Provincial Society for Analysis and Testing Technology and other institutions.
SOPO is an annual conference in China since 2009. It was held in Wuhan, Chengdu, Shanghai, Suzhou, Xi’an, Beijing, Guilin, Sanya and Kunming from 2009 to 2021. Each year there are 100 - 200 attendees from Asia, Europe, America, etc., and there have been quite a lot of well known experts giving plenary speeches. In 2023, SOPO will be held from August 14 to 16 in Xiamen, China. It dedicates to facilitating the global development of Photonics and Optoelectronics and exploring ways in which the latest research results can be shared.
Xiamen is an island city with a rich and dramatic history, replete with pirates, rebel leaders, and European merchants. Now linked to mainland Fujian by a causeway, Xiamen retains a strong international flavor. Known in the West as Amoy, Xiamen has a long history as a port city, and later became a center of British trade in the 19th century. Their foreign settlements, later taken over by Japanese invaders at the start of World War II, were established on the nearby small Gulangyu Island. Many of the old treaty-port and colonial buildings in Western styles survive. Xiamen was declared one of China’s first Special Economic Zones in the early 1980’s, taking advantage of the city’s heritage as a trading center and the proximity to Taiwan. Today Xiamen is one of China’s most attractive and best-maintained resort cities.

8-10 pages (within the template format with all tables, figures and references). If your paper is over 10 pages, you will be kindly requested to pay for extra pages fees.
3. The simple Abstract submission should include the title, contents, keywords, authors names, affiliations and emails. The length is suggested to be controlled
within 1 page and no more than 2 pages.

3-5 working days after submission. If you do not get any notification within the time limit, please contact us as soon as possible.

Conference History
SOPO, The 14th International Symposium on Photonics and Optoelectronics (SOPO 2023), is an annual conference in China since 2009. This conference was held in Wuhan, Chengdu, Shanghai, Suzhou, Xi’an, Beijing, Guilin, Sanya and Kunming from 2009 to 2021. Each year there are 100 - 200 attendees from Asia, Europe, America, etc., and there have been quite a lot of well known experts giving plenary speeches. In 2021, SOPO was held in Guilin from October 29-31 and more than 30 distinguished speakers gave the Keynote Speeches and oral presentations.
